Lantern

The Lantern is a light source that emits a brighter glow than torches, providing illumination to deter hostile mobs from spawning. Crafted using iron nuggets and a torch, it can be hung beneath blocks or placed on top of them. Its aesthetic appeal is favored for decorative purposes, and it comes in two variants: the standard lantern and the soul lantern, which has a lower light level and a blue hue.
