Polymer is a resource that can be obtained by harvesting the corpses of certain creatures or by crafting it in a fabricator using obsidian and cementing paste. It's an essential component in the creation of high-tech items, structures, and equipment. However, it's quite heavy and has a short spoil time, making it challenging to store and transport. Organic Polymer, a substitute, can be obtained from certain creatures and has the same uses but spoils over time.
